Coming soon! Dennis Villeneuve's science fiction masterpiece 'Arrival' is a film so profoundly near and dear to my heart. As a director, his command of the cinematic language is so complete that, within the first five seconds of the film, by the simple juxtaposition of elements in the film's first shot as well as the opening music, Max Richter's 'On the Nature of Daylight', I already had a solid grasp of the themes the film was going to explore. I cannot f***ing wait to take a deep dive into this film.
